Jazz Lovers, Professional Musicians, and Celebrities celebrated and supported Hands4Hope LA’s academic, athletic, artistic, and social enrichment programs!


The Urban Groove Band
 plays all genres of music- from Jazz, Latin, Swing, Soft Rock, Blues, and RnB. They are a group of experienced men who thrive on creating a musical sound that every one of all ethnicities can enjoy. On stage the Urban Groove Band is full of life and energy which is felt in the audience from one song to the next. Whether someone is dancing or listening, their “GROOVE” is something that one can feel. 


Jazz In P!nk is an all-star female ensemble of musical women in jazz that projects talent, beauty, power and femininity as they embrace the stage! 
Their mission is to promote women in jazz, by providing live performance opportunities showcasing each other’s music.  


Greg Adams

“The sound of Greg Adams is one of the world’s best-known musical signatures. Adams has recorded six solo albums, three releases with East Bay Soul and fourteen recordings as a founding member of Tower of Power, legendary for his arrangements that made the TOP horn section a sought out entity all its own. His 1995 debut Hidden Agenda went all the way to #1 on Billboard and stayed there for five weeks.With countless collaborations in the studio and live on stage, Adams has made his mark on a broad stretch of today’s music landscape that includes jazz, pop, rock, R&B, soul, and funk.”


Gary Taylor is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer.

As a songwriter and producer, Mr. Taylor has worked with both veteran acts, such as Anita Baker (“Good Love”) and The Whispers (“Just Gets Better With Time”, “My Heart, Your Heart”), and new wave of soul artists such as Lalah Hathaway (“I’m Coming Back”) among them.



Larry Dunn is a keyboardist, musical director and one of the early members of the music group Earth, Wind & Fire. Dunn, along with other members of Earth, Wind & Fire, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
